On 2/08/2023, I came out of my garage and backed my bronco to our fence gate to feed our horse. I left the vehicle running with the heat on. The outside air was 20-40 degrees and raining. When I came back to the vehicle there was a crack from the outer edge of the windshield approximately six or more inches across. From the driver's side towards the passenger side. I had driven the bronco the day before and there was no damage or crack. When the crack occurred, no one was in the vehicle. When I brought the bronco back to the house, I wiped the rain away for a picture and found a very tiny chip in the crack. I'm not sure if a tiny rock did the damage or if that was from the windshield cracking. The chip is smaller than a pinhead and less than a millimeter...
2022 FORD BRONCO. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO PARTS BEING UNAVAILABLE TO PERFORM WINDSHIELD ADHESION SAFETY RECALL.
With no impact whatsoever a crack appeared on the INSISE of the vehicle windshield. Outdoor temp was about 40 degrees. Has never been on highway has 2400 miles on it.
