2015 DODGE DART — Problems, Recalls & Safety Data

The contact owns a 2015 Dodge Dart. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V674000 (Power Train). The contact stated that while turning off the vehicle, the key was difficult to remove from the ignition. The gear shifter was in park(P); however, the ignition switch remained stuck in the ACC position. Several attempts were required before the key could be released. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed, and the vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred after the repair. The check engine warning light and the power train warning light were illuminated. The failure reoccurred over time. The manufacturer was contacted, but provided no assistance. transmission shift cable issue, unable to use shifter to get car out of park. When i want to turn off my car, the key gets stuck in ACC and does not turn to off. The key wont turn all the way off gets stuck, even though I am in parking. I saw that their is a recall for this and their is no answer for this yet or remedy I mean. But it has been happening to my car every single day, every single time I drive and I am very scared for my safety. Especially when having kids or other people in the car with me.
