The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact stated that the ABS and ESC warning lights were illuminated. The contact notified a local dealer of the failure. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) in 2024. The contact was informed by the dealer that the part for the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the transmission recently failed to shift into 4WD, and during snow or icy weather conditions, the wheels were spinning and failed to properly grip the road surface. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 141,000.
