NHTSA Complaint #11712456 — 2018 RAM 2500

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the 4WD, ABS, and traction control warning lights illuminated, with the "Service ABS Soon" and "ABS" messages displayed with a constant audible alarm. The contact stated that while attempting to activate the 4WD, the two front tires were not spinning as intended. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed; however, the mechanic advised the contact that parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.
