NHTSA Complaint #11712251 — 2020 JEEP WRANGLER

The contact owns a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, the instrument panel became dark. The failure had occurred on several occasions. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was unknown. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure reoccurred and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer and was diagnosed and determined that the instrument panel needed to be replaced. The dealer stated that there was no recall associated with the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
