NHTSA Complaint #11712097 — 2018 RAM 2500

The contact owns a 2018 Ram 2500. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V896000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated that while driving on several occasions at various speeds, the ABS and Traction Control warning lights illuminated and occasionally remained illuminated. The contact stated that whenever the warning lights were illuminated with the cruise control feature activated, the cruise control feature would inadvertently deactivate. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was determined that the part to complete the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair and filed a complaint. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
