NHTSA Complaint #11708442 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER 4XE

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V710000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) and 25V766000 (ENGINE); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle, the vehicle stalled. After several attempts, the vehicle restarted approximately one and a half hours later. The contact stated that on a separate occasion, the vehicle jerked abnormally. No warning lights were illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The contact stated that it did not feel safe driving the vehicle. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 24,000.
