NHTSA Complaint #11716820 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER 4XE

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated while depressing the accelerator pedal. There was no warning light illuminated. The accelerator pedal was continuously depressed, and the vehicle surged forward after the initial hesitation. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle entered LIMP Mode. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, but the contact was informed on each visit that no defects were discovered with the vehicle. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V710000 (Electrical System) and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The dealer was made aware of the recalls and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The contact reached out to the manufacturer but was unsuccessful. The failure mileage was approximately 29.
