NHTSA Complaint #11718779 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER 4XE

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked, it was plugged into the charger and red dots illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the contact was advised not to connect the vehicle to the charger. The contact was informed of an open recall. The contact was advised to park the vehicle outside. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact later received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V766000 (Engine); however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.
