NHTSA Complaint #11706102 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER 4XE

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact was smelling a burning odor entering the cabin of the vehicle through the vents on the dashboard. The contact was not sure if the defroster or the heater had been activated. The contact stated that there were no warning lights illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, but the vehicle had not yet been diagnosed. The contact was advised by the dealer that instructions were needed from the manufacturer on how to repair the vehicle. The contact had received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System). The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 16,000.
