NHTSA Complaint #11705855 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER 4XE

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle on three separate occasions, the vehicle hesitated while starting. No warning light was illuminated. In addition, upon further inspection, the contact noticed that the high-voltage battery failed to maintain a charge and drained quickly. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.
