NHTSA Complaint #11704684 — 2024 JEEP WRANGLER 4XE

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V741000 (Electrical System) and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to do the recall repairs were not yet available. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle hesitated to accelerate as intended upon depressing the accelerator pedal. In addition, the vehicle jerked and only responded after the brake pedal was depressed twice. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that on another occasion, the low oil pressure and the TPMS warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the cause of the failure was not determined. Additionally, the contact stated that the engine was consuming an excessive amount of oil. The dealer added oil to the engine. The contact recently noticed that the vehicle was misaligned. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the failure persisted. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,392.
