The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4XE. The contact stated that while driving at 35 MPH, the vehicle lost motive power with no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a dealer, where it was not diagnosed; however, the contact was informed that four module software updates were completed. The contact later received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V710000 (Electrical System), 25V741000 (Electrical System), and 25V766000 (Engine); however, the parts to complete the recall repairs were not yet available. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that the remedy for the vehicle was only a temporary solution, and confirmed that the official remedy parts were not yet available. The dealer referred the contact to the manufacturer for further assistance. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and the contact’s reimbursement claim for a loaner vehicle expenses was denied due to miscommunication and the fact that the manufacturer had not approved the request for loaner vehicle assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 8,297.
