NHTSA Complaint #11693390 — 2019 FORD FLEX

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Flex. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V951000 (Back Over Prevention) in 2024; however, when the local dealer was contacted to schedule an appointment, the contact was informed that parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The contact stated that the camera had started to show symptoms of the recall. The camera image was occasionally upside down or there was a message “Camera Not Available” was displayed. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was contacted about the lack of recall repair parts and to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 85,000.
