Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while reversing, the rearview camera image was distorted or blue. The message "Rearview Camera Unavailable" was intermittently displayed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the rearview camera had failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 35,000.
