NHTSA Complaint #11689174 — 2013 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the contact became aware that the rearview camera displayed a blank screen or an upside-down image. An independent mechanic was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V270000 (BACK OVER PREVENTION); however, the VIN or the model year was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 193,000.
