NHTSA Complaint #11666758 — 2019 FORD FLEX

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Flex. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, the driver's side B-pillar trim detached from the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact stated that on another occasion, the passenger’s side B-pillar trim became loosened. The contact removed the passenger side B-pillar trim due to safety concerns. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired after the most recent failure. The contact related the failure to TSB: 202427. However, the part to do the repair was not yet available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
