The contact stated that on several occasions while in reverse, the back over prevention display screen was black, with the message "Back Over Prevention Camera not Available" displayed on the instrument panel. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,400.
