Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2016 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 50 MPH, the oil pan started leaking. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed and the contact was informed that the oil pan gasket and valve needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and opened a case, but no additional assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
