NHTSA Complaint #11637253 — 2022 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while her husband was attempting to reverse out of the parking spot; while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. A warning message "Park brake fault service now" displayed on the instrument panel. The local dealer was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired due to the VIN not being included in any recalls. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V509000 (Parking Brake) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 100,000.
