Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the rear sliding window latch mechanism had separated and fallen into the interior of the vehicle several times. The dealer was notified of the failure and charged a fee for the repair. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 45,000.
