NHTSA Complaint #11504880 — 2015 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V652000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages) for the driver’s side door. Approximately 2 years later, the passenger’s side rear door latch failed. The contact was unable to lock or unlock the door from the inside or outside. The contact returned the vehicle to the dealer who confirmed the same fix from the recall mentioned; however, the fix was no longer covered under the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 82,000.
