Consumer Description

The vehicle has the known cam phaser issue commonly reported on 3.5L Ecoboost engines. It is a known problem, that the dealership is so aware of they were able to provide a repair quote on the spot. The engine had less than 50,000 miles when the issue was first discovered. The safety issue is the engine failing while driving could place someone in an unsafe situation depending on how and when it failed.
