NHTSA Complaint #11614831 — 2019 FORD EXPEDITION

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact stated that on several occasions, the power train and check engine warning lights illuminated but then disappeared. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and idled until the RPM became normal. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was a leak in the turbo hose. The vehicle was repaired but the failure reoccurred a week later. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 38,000.
