The contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle had the message "Starting Fault System" displayed on the instrument panel. The contact stated that the instrument panel had completely failed. The contact stated that while at a stop sign, the vehicle stalled in the middle of the intersection, and had to be manually pushed into a parking lot. After several attempts, the vehicle was able to be restarted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 156,970.
