Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at 2 MPH, the vehicle went into LIMP Mode. The wrench symbol was displayed. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact that the failure was due to the throttle body. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline, but no assistance was provided. The contact stated that the failure was related to Customer Satisfaction Program: 13N03. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
