NHTSA Complaint #11541172 — 2021 CHRYSLER PACIFICA PLUG-IN HYBRID

The contact owns a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. The contact stated while driving 70 MPH, the vehicle inadvertently lost motive power before stalling. The contact was able to safely coast to the shoulder of the roadway. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle seemed to return to normal functionality. The service battery system warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V010000 (Electrical System, Hybrid Propulsion System) but the VIN was not included. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, who was unable to duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but was unable to assist. The failure mileage was 46,000.
