Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V515000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle jerked, and the RPM fluctuated. Additionally, the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the purge valve had failed and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 51,000.
