The contact's wife owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the front driver’s side door and rear passenger’s side door failed to close and lock securely. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the door actuators had failed, and the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V177000 (Latches/Locks/Linkages). The dealer also advised the contact that he would be responsible for the cost of the repair because the VIN was not included in the recall.
