NHTSA Complaint #11437200 — 2013 CADILLAC SRX

The contact owns a 2013 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that the check engine, traction control, StabiliTrak, and several other warning lights had illuminated the instrument panel. The contact also stated that an abnormal banging noise would emit from the vehicle while driving at various speeds. The contact then received a recall notice for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension). The dealer was contacted for an appointment and on the day of her appointment, she was informed that parts for the recall were unavailable. The manufacturer had been notified of the recall. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
