NHTSA Complaint #11427448 — 2013 CADILLAC SRX

The contact owns a 2013 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated while driving 50 mph, the rear end of the vehicle started swerving uncontrollably. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the vehicle needed an alignment. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired however, the failure persisted. The dealer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that they would assist in locating a dealer that had the part to provide a temporary recall repair however, the contact had not received any information on a possible dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 85,000.
