Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE ENGINE COOLANT WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE ENTERED INTO LIMP MODE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO MOVE THE VEHICLE INTO A PARKING AREA. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO HALL FORD NEWPORT NEWS (12896 JEFFERSON AVENUE, NEWPORT NEWS, VA 23608,(877) 398-22165) WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT ENGINE COOLANT PENETRATED THE ENGINE BLOCK AND CYLINDERS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENGINE COOLANT FAILURE WAS REPAIRED PER A MANUFACTURER WARRANTED REPAIR WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS AT 80,410 MILES HOWEVER, THE REPAIR DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: (24848748). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 124,998.
