Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE IDLING AT A STOPPED POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SHULTS FORD LINCOLN (10401 PERRY HWY, WEXFORD, PA 15090, (724) 934-2388), BUT NO FAILURE CODES COULD BE LOCATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED OVER AN EIGHT MONTH PERIOD AND AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS SCHEDULED TO GO BACK TO THE DEALER TO BE REPAIRED AT THE CONTACT'S EXPENSE. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE REPAIRED ISSUE WAS POWER TRAIN WARRANTY, WHICH EXPIRED IN 3,000 MILES. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 39,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. *DT*JB
