Consumer Description

PLEASE NOTE THE PHOTOS ARE NOT FROM MY JEEP, THEY ARE FROM ANOTHER PERSON HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. DASH DISPLAYS 'SERVICE SHIFTER' AND ALL LIGHTS ONE SHIFTER ILLUMINATE. I WAS DRIVING WHEN THIS HAPPENED (TWICE ON DIFFERENT OCCASIONS). I PULLED OVER SHIFTER TO PARK, SHUT THE JEEP OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON AND IT WENT AWAY FOR A FEW MILES AND CAME BACK ON. THIS HAPPENED EITHER THE END OF MARCH OR BEGINNING OF APRIL 2019 DURING SLUSHY WET ROAD CONDITIONS. I HAVE NOT SEEN IT SINCE THOSE TWO DAYS. DATE ENTERED BELOW IS AN ESTIMATE. I WASN'T AWARE THIS SITE EXISTED UNTIL A FRIEND TAGGED ME IN A FACEBOOK POST DEPICTING AN ACCIDENT CAUSED FROM THE SAME ISSUE IN A 2017 JEEP CHEROKEE LATITUDE.
