Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FUSION HYBRID. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE TRANSMISSION MADE A GRINDING NOISE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO KELLY FORD (420 CABOT STREET, BEVERLY, MA 01915, (888) 865-9541) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE GEAR SHIFT WAS FAULTY AND THE TRANSMISSION AXLE WAS LEAKING. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE'S WARRANTY HAD EXPIRED; THEREFORE, THEY WOULD NOT ASSIST WITH THE REPAIR. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
