Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD FOCUS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE REAR PASSENGER DOOR ERRONEOUSLY OPENED AND WOULD NO LONGER LOCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE DOOR LATCH FAILED. THE DOOR LATCH WAS REPLACED. GENE BUTMAN FORD (2105 WASHTENAW AVE, YPSILANTI, MI) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
