Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD F-150. WHILE DRIVING LESS THAN 10 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD BOOM AND THE REAR WINDOW SHATTERED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DEFROSTER BECAME ACTIVATED, POTENTIALLY, AND THE INTENSE HEAT CAUSED THE WINDOW TO SHATTER. FAIR OAKS FORD LINCOLN (2055 OGDEN AVE, NAPERVILLE, IL 60540, (630) 250-5750) WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,500.
