Consumer Description

THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN BY MY ELDERLY MOTHER FOR EMISSIONS, AS I AM CURRENTLY DEPLOYED OVERSEAS. THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND SHE LOST ALL ELECTRIC POWER-ASSISTED STEERING (EPAS). LUCKILY MY MOTHER WAS ABLE TO STEER THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROAD AND AVOID COLLIDING WITH ANYTHING BUT BEING 66 IF SHE LOST CONTROL ANYWHERE ELSE IT COULD OF BEEN FATAL. THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AND DETERMINED TO HAVE THE SAME FAULT AS LISTED IN THE RECALL FOR THE 2011 FORD FUSION MODEL.
