Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 TOYOTA CAMRY. WHILE DRIVING 25-40 MPH, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED WITH FORCE; HOWEVER, WHEN THE SPEED WAS INCREASED TO 45-60 MPH, THE VIBRATION CEASED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DON JACOBS TOYOTA (5727 SOUTH 27TH STREET, MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN, (414)-281-3100) WHERE A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WAS PERFORMED AND A FAILURE CODE FOR THE TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER WAS FOUND. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THERE WAS A WARRANTY PROGRAM FOR THE TRANSMISSION FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE PROGRAM ENDED IN OCTOBER OF 2017. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 125,000.
