Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 FORD EDGE. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE DOORS WOULD NOT LOCK AND THE DOOR AJAR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR WAS NOT LOCKED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED EVERY TIME THE CONTACT ENTERED THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,000.
