Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CADILLAC CTS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH AND MAKING A RIGHT TURN, THE CONTACT HEARD AN ABNORMAL NOISE COMING FROM THE VEHICLE. ON ANOTHER OCCASION, WHILE DRIVING 15 MPH, THE SPEEDOMETER DISPLAYED 65 MPH. IN ADDITION, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A U-TURN, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND ROLLED AWAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN REPLACED THE REAR DRIVE SHAFT CENTER JOINT BOLT. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,000.
