Thor Scope Ram Promaster 1500 Chassis sits low and Thor installed Cummins Onan generator and 2 Trojan batteries under the chassis, that sit 2 or more inches below the rear axle against the Cummins install guidelines. The generator needs 6 to 8 inches for ventilation according to manual and RV mechanics. Both generator and batteries collocated together coming in contact with road debris, objects, water on roadways may cause critical failure of systems resulting in hazardous conditions (stalling, loss of control, fire, explosion) to drivers.
