The contact owned a 2017 Ram Promaster 3500. The contact stated that after parking the vehicle on the side of his house, he received an alert from a sensor camera attached to his home. When the contact checked the alert, he saw that the vehicle had caught fire. The contact immediately called the fire department and they were able to extinguish the fire once they arrived. No injuries were reported. The contact sustained property damage side of his garage and the siding of the garage had become warped due to the fire. The vehicle had yet to be removed from the property and had been deemed a total loss. The contact posted pictures of his damaged vehicle to an online forum and the manufacturer reached out to him for assistance.
