The contact stated that his oldest son did not see anything in front of the vehicle. The contact stated that his wife said the vehicle pulled sharply to the right and drove down an embankment and onto a property. The contact stated that the vehicle crashed head-on into a stack of railroad ties. All of the air bags had deployed. The contact stated that both his wife and oldest son were shaken but had minor injuries, mostly bruises on their shoulders and waists from the seat belts and abrasions on their hands and foreheads from the air bags. The contact owns a 2023 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 MPH, the message "Engine Failure, No Power, Service Immediately" was displayed and the vehicle stalled. Moments later, the vehicle restarted, and the vehicle operated normally. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the forward distance sensor had failed which caused the vehicle to stall and the sensor needed to be replaced.
