All Back Over Prevention Complaints
The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the crash avoidance system became inoperable. While reversing there was no alert of a person behind the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where informed about the diagnostic fees. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure after several road tests. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted but, no further assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 25,000.
THE BACKUP CAMERA IS FREEZING AT RANDOM WHEN I AM BACKING UP CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO STOP AND PUT THE VEHICLE IN PARK AND TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON TO RESET THE BACKUP CAMERA TO GET IT TO UNFREEZE TO GET IT TO FULLY WORK AGAIN. OTHERWISE IT REMAINS FROZEN EVEN WHEN I PUT THE VEHICLE IN DRIVE AND DRIVE TO A NEW AND LEAVE THE VEHICLE RUNNING AND STOP AND BACKUP THE BACKUP CAMERA IS STILL FROZEN NOT UNTIL I TURN THE VEHICLE OFF DOES THE BACKUP BECOME UNFROZEN. THIS IS A RANDOM HAPPENING, AND DOES NOT HAPPEN ALL THE TIME AND I CAN NOT PREDICT WHEN IT WILL OCCUR THE NEXT TIME. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE THAT COULD CAUSE ME TO HIT A CHILD THAT COULD RANDOMLY RUN OUT BEHIND MY VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING IN A PARKING LOT OR WHEN BACKING OUT OF...
