Recall 14V155000 — SUSPENSION:REAR

| 2 vehicles affected

Defect: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2014 Range Rover Evoque vehicles manufactured November 27, 2013 and December 4, 2013. The bolts connecting the right hand rear suspension link arm may have been damaged during vehicle production.

Consequence: The damaged bolts may fail, allowing the link arm to separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will replace the connecting bolts for the right hand rear suspension link arm, free of charge. The recall began on April 28, 2014. Land Rover's number for this recall is P040.

Additionally, the contact stated that the turbo charger was engaging independently, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. Additionally, the contact stated that the active suspension and shock absorbers were not responding when the contact drove over dips in the road or while turning left or right. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated for the suspension. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the turbo charger and the suspension needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 120,000.
