The vehicle has twice displayed a “Service High Voltage System” warning followed by “Reduced Acceleration – Drive With Care.” When this occurs, the vehicle enters a reduced-power (turtle) mode that severely limits acceleration. Cabin heat also stopped working, and the vehicle would not charge beyond approximately 25%, restricting driving range. OnStar diagnostics reported a critical error. The vehicle and diagnostic history are available for inspection upon request. The first incident occurred while driving around town. Although I was close to home, the reduced acceleration created concern because the vehicle could not respond normally to traffic. The second incident was significantly more dangerous and occurred in heavy traffic and on the freeway about 40 miles from home during heavy rain. The limited acceleration made merging and maintaining a safe traffic speed difficult, placing myself and others at risk. I have only been able to get the dealer to take the vehicle...
The contact owns a 2025 Honda Prologue. The contact stated that while parked and attempting to charge the vehicle, the vehicle failed to charge. The battery warning light was illuminated, and the message "Service Critical High-Voltage Battery" was displayed with a flashing red battery in the corner. The vehicle was towed to a dealer and was diagnosed with a critical battery failure. The vehicle was not repaired; however, the battery was reset, and the vehicle was drivable. The failure had occurred approximately five times. On another occasion, while driving at an undisclosed speed, an unknown warning light illuminated, and the message "Adaptive Cruise Control Unavailable" was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but it was not yet diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.
Multiple warning lights coming on for no reason Car not charging Dealer ship not able to detect issue
First of all, my Honda app took me a month to get into and sign in due to app issues which are very annoying and when I drive my car and turn the wheel, it makes axel sounds my screen shut off on me. One time I got a high voltage system warning the battery drains out quick. The door hits the other door every time you open driver side
Unknown electrical issue in the cold. Saw posts online about people getting "High voltage system" errors and after a few days in the cold it happened to me. Dealership couldn't find the issue and simply cleared the error codes telling me to come back in if it happens again. Huge issue, as it limits the range to protect the system from further issues but doesn't give me enough range to even drive home from work if the errors appears during my commute. Occasionally my front sensors don't work but give no indication of any issues, other times it notifies me that they need cleaned, but not always. Not reliable enough to trust in anything but perfect circumstances. I am also getting the CV joint clicking issue occasionally when turning, unsure if related to cold weather or not but it has only happened in 10-20 degree weather. Sounds very bad when...
The contact owns a 2025 Honda Prologue. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the battery suddenly experienced a loss of power. An unknown message was displayed. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed; however, the cause of the failure was not identified. The vehicle was not repaired. In addition, the contact stated that the failure had progressed over time. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
I received another service high voltage system message literally weeks after I brought my vehicle in and had the issue fixed. I reported this issue last on 11/24/2025 it is now 12/19/2025 and it happened again. The heat in my vehicle seemed to stop working and was blowing cold air. This is just poor design and disgraceful.
My vehicle recently began displaying the error messages “Service High-Voltage System” and “Reduced Acceleration – Drive With Care.” Since these warnings appeared, my vehicle’s heating system no longer works at all. This defect creates multiple serious safety hazards: 1.No heat in cold weather: Temperatures in my area are currently around 42°F, and the cabin cannot warm up. This creates an unsafe temperature environment for myself and especially for my children while driving. 2.No ability to defrost windows: Without heat, the vehicle cannot defog or defrost the windshield or windows. This severely impacts visibility and creates a dangerous driving condition. 3.Reduced acceleration: The vehicle warns of reduced performance, which may affect my ability to safely merge, change lanes, or respond to traffic conditions. These issues began without warning, and the loss of heating combined with high-voltage system errors makes me concerned about a potential electrical or battery system failure. This is...
Vehicle makes click-click-click (2-4) on hard over turns with accelerations (e.g. parking lot exit to street) Sounds front right CV/Axle region. Vehicle has intermittent MIL "Service High Voltage Soon" which resolves on subsequent startup, might be linked to scheduled charging within car infotainment.
Brake by it self on the street multiple times and then when I’m goin reverse it sence sometimes something and does not let me go also the battery does not let me charge more of 20% when the red car on the dash apear and it has a noise when your turning
My 2025 Honda Prologue Elite is experiencing multiple safety-related issues. The front CV axles make a consistent clicking noise when turning, indicating a possible drivetrain or axle defect. The power tailgate also intermittently and unexpectedly closes on its own while loading or unloading, creating a risk of head injury. In addition, the infotainment screen and digital gauge cluster will randomly shut off while driving—sometimes for up to 30 seconds—leaving me without speed, range, or other essential telemetry while the vehicle is in motion. All of which the dealer will not address or states they can't replicate.
While driving I received a warning that said “ service high voltage system” that came up on my dashboard. I have had my vehicle just for a couple of months and this is the second issue that I am having with the vehicle since purchasing it. I have taken it back to Honda who is now telling me that they have to do some tests to try and figure out the issue which seems to be a know issue which some forums show that may effect the heating system or cause you to need a complete battery replacement. I have my vehicle in service now waiting to see what the issue is but but for a brand new vehicle there has to be an even bigger problem if the issue is happening not only on my vehicle but on its sister vehicles as well the made by Chevy.
The CCS charging door does not stay closed/locked after closing it from charging session. I opened the charger door to charge the vehicle at a charging station. Once the charge was completed, I closed the charging door. Went home and noticed the door was open.
The front center counsel which contains the USB and 12 volt charging ports comes off the car’s body and exposes the wires. This can lead to people getting electrocuted and hazardous for kids.
The contact owns a 2025 Honda Prologue. The contact stated that the battery was charged to 50 percent. The contact went to the charging station, but the vehicle failed to charge after two hours. The contact drove to another charging station and received a charge now message to slow down, and the vehicle shut down. Additionally, the accelerator pedal was depressed, but the vehicle went into neutral. While driving 60-65 MPH, the vehicle went to 70 percent charge. There was an abnormal clicking sound coming from the axle and CV joint. While using the turn signal, the turn signal responded on the opposite side as intended and turned on the windshield wipers. The contact was unable to locate the hazard lights. The contact called OnStar, who contacted Honda for a jumpstart. Another tow company was contacted, who was unable to tow the vehicle due to the vehicle not shifting into...
