TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC ACADIA. WHILE THE REAR LIFTGATE DOOR WAS IN THE OPEN POSITION, THE DOOR SUDDENLY FELL DOWN. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V415000 (STRUCTURE). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
