Horn stopped working while trying to use on the highway. This is after the passenger headlight failed in July 2025. Why are these safety concerns not being addressed by the manufacturer?

The electrical wiring harnesses affecting numerous safety systems (forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning) have been chewed through by rodents. Upon further research it was determined that starting in 2016 Asian automotive manufacturers (Nissan, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai) began using soy-based insulation in their wiring harnesses as alternatives to petroleum-based insulation. Rodents (mice, squirrels, etc.) are attracted to the wiring harnesses. The resultant damage and safety concerns led customers to file several lawsuits against the manufacturers. It is not clear whether Hyundai stopped the use of these soy-based wiring harnesses after 2021. Genesis is a spin-off of Hyundai, leveraging common parts. It appears that these soy-based wiring harnesses are being used in some of the 2022 GV80 models. Genesis currently burdens its customers with the cost to troubleshoot and replace these harnesses. UNINTENDED ACCELERATION!! 2022 GENESIS GV80 2.5T Prestige model. 60 miles after I had the fuel pump replaced due to a recall on the fuel pump, car was totaled. It was complete luck that I or others WERE NOT KILLED. The vehicle was sitting still with engine running and all of a sudden just accelerated up to about 40+ mph. I had to steer into parked car to stop my vehicle. The gear shift would not go into neutral or reverse. entire experience took 6-8 seconds. Air bag saved me. The car had just come from the Genesis service center 60 miles prior to incident. Was in excellent condition with only 6190 on it. VERY SCARY..If I had been on the highway or going through an intersection people would have been killed, as car kept gaining speed.
