Subject: Complaint Regarding Genesis GV80 Coasting Feature Malfunction in Eco Mode To Whom It May Concern, This complaint is regarding a defect in the Genesis GV80’s Eco Mode, specifically the failure of the vehicle to coast as advertised. Genesis promotes the coasting feature as a key function of Eco Mode to improve fuel efficiency, yet this feature does not engage at all during real-world driving. Multiple owners have reported this issue to Genesis dealerships during service visits, yet no fix has been provided. Despite being aware of the problem, Genesis has not issued any software updates, recalls, or technical service bulletins to address the malfunction. This misleading advertising impacts vehicle performance and fuel economy, creating frustration among customers who purchased the vehicle based on these claims. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is urged to investigate this matter and hold Genesis accountable for failing to deliver on its advertised vehicle functionality. A resolution
